A late 19th century terracotta Provençal pitcher, of well-rounded form with a short neck, tightly pinched spout, and sturdy strap handle. The exterior is finished in a warm russet half glaze, with a pale straw-glazed interior, while the unglazed lower body reveals the buff clay.

It shows old chips and nibbling to the rim and spout, along with natural staining consistent with its handmade origin and long use, all contributing to its authentic antique character and rustic appeal.

Given its age, it is best suited for decorative use, bringing warmth and character to a kitchen shelf, dining table, or console. Use it as a vase for olive branches or herbs, or display it with other ceramics to add texture and depth to both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
