Antique Savoyard platter w/ green glaze & black bird - 12½" diameter

Dating from the start of the twentieth century, this green glazed terracotta tart pan or platter features a scalloped edge and a simple black bird design perched on a branch with orange leaves in the center.

Note the charming black dots decorating around the rippled edges. This piece would be a lovely serving or display dish to delight your guests with a touch of French mountain living. Note some wear to glaze as seen in photos around rim and knife marks in the center from use.
