This listing is part of the 'At Home with Patricia Wells' collection of epicurean objects and decorative antiques.

A charming petite sewing box from the late-nineteenth century, made from timber with a black paint finish and beautifully branded inside and out. Patricia and Walter loved that there was a single spool of thread still inside the box when they purchased it at an antique market in Provence. This was part of a lovely collection of boxes displayed on shelves in the Wells' bedroom.
