A lovely antique English Edwardian dressing table mirror with a gracefully shaped "chapeau de gendarme" silver frame, flanked to either side by hinged single-light candelabras decorated with scrolling foliate. It stands with an easel back which easily folds flat for storage. The silver frame features a pretty molded pattern around the border. A charming decorative piece to bring a touch of antique elegance into your home. Not some foxing to the mirror's patina as seen in photos.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
This mirror contains its original mercury glass which sparkles beautifully in the light. The technique of making mercury glass mirrors was retired in the early 1900s. The mercury is fixed behind the glass in a solidified, non harmful state.
