Antique silverplate Wine bottles Coasters from the Carlton Cannes Hotel 4¾"

This exceptional pair of wine bottle coasters date from the early twentieth century. Made by Christofle for the Carlton Cannes Hotel (opened in 1911). They are branded Carlton Hotel and have the Christofle hallmark. These are rare finds and a wonderful piece of history from an iconic hotel.

Christofle was founded in 1830 by Charles Christofle. Christofle is a brand synonymous with luxury, with a long list of significant commissions from Emperor Napoleon III to ministries, embassies and luxury hotels.
