Antique wicker fig basket w/ TD initials 10¼" x 12½"

This adorable little wicker basket dates from the early twentieth century and is from Chanteduc, the home of Patricia and Walter Wells in Provence. . It has the initials TD painted in black on the side. This was displayed as part of an antique box collection in Patricia and Walter's bedroom.

Patricia tells us that her local friends were over at their home one day and explained it was a fig basket and that the initials are for the original owner's initials. She loves its charm, and it would be a lovely addition to a collection of baskets.
