A small but telling piece of daily life from Patricia and Walter Wells's Paris apartment, this Art Deco brass tea strainer was brought out every morning at petit déjeuner.

Dating from the early twentieth century, and found at a brocante, this lovely tea strainer would sit naturally on a kitchen shelf or breakfast tray, equally at home beside a working teapot or displayed among a collection of vintage metalware and decorative brass.
