A majolica set from the Onnaing manufacture, northern France, dating to the early 20th century, richly molded and beautifully glazed. The shaped tray features a trellis ground with relief leaves and supports four graduated vessels with ribbed and basketweave walls, petal-scalloped rims, and deep wine-colored interiors. The decoration reflects the Art Nouveau taste for organic motifs and graceful, flowing lines, expressed here through softly curving forms and naturalistic detail. Warm honey and caramel tones are cooled by soft green and white highlights, giving the ensemble an inviting, lustrous finish. Onnaing was celebrated during this period for its vibrant color palettes and crisp relief work, and this set reflects that tradition with particular charm. The condition is very good, with light edge wear and a few small glaze nibbles to the high points, and no visible cracks.
