Art Nouveau marble bistro table w/ cast iron base 41¾" x 21¼"

Dating from the early-twentieth century, this rare Art Nouveau bistro table features a thick Carrara marble top with a rounded nose and corners and a cast iron base threaded with brass. It is branded by the Toulouse foundry. The design is evocative of other cast iron designs by Hector Guimard - renowned Belgian Art Nouveau period architect.
