A vintage Moroccan haik from the 1970s, handwoven in wool and cotton with lively checks in saffron, indigo, plum, emerald, and brick, lifted by fine ivory accents and softly fringed ends. Artisanal in character, each piece is unique, with subtle variations in color and weave that reflect rural workshops and traditional looms. Historically worn by Berber communities as a draped garment and also used as a household covering, the haik was made for everyday life.
Layer it at the foot of a bed, fold it over the arm of a sofa as a warm throw, hang it as an airy curtain, or use it to set a bohemian table with its richly textured surface. The saturated palette brings Mediterranean warmth to neutral spaces, while the handcrafted weave adds softness and soul.
Note: As a result of their handwoven construction and utilitarian origins, haiks naturally present irregularities and imperfections that underscore their authentic charm, with gentle signs of age that further enrich their character.
