A delightful assortment of nine French-decorated wooden walking canes dating from the twentieth century and older. Note the photos to view the terrific display of craft and array of designs. Some feature umbrella-style carved and turned designs, some feature ducks, others feature the face of a dog on the handle, two feature Folk Art ("Art Populaire") style characters, one features a stunning striped wood design, and one features a snail and a serpent signed and dated 1939. A fantastic decorative collection for display on a wall in a study or as decoration in an entry. Note detail photos for some losses.
