Emerging from the height of French Art Nouveau, this graduated pair of Baccarat perfume bottles, circa 1900, shimmers in faintly tinted pale sea-green crystal with faceted ball stoppers and gilded lips. The cylindrical bodies display softly acid-etched foliage overlaid with enamel and gilt lilies whose petals reveal a rich claret tone in the light. Very good condition, with two tiny underside chips to the smaller bottle and gentle rubbing to the gilding; a portion of the original Baccarat label remains on the larger.

Small in stature yet striking in presence, they embody the refined artistry of Baccarat flacons. These bottles reflect the Art Nouveau fascination with botany and the Japonisme-inspired lily motifs favored around 1900.
