Dating from the early twentieth-century, this carved console / wall light is made from tilleul (linden) wood. There is a space for a light bulb on the inside. One could add a piece of glass to display a sculpture and have it illuminated from the underside.
Condition & wear consistent with age and use.
Must be re-wired and installed in accordance with local electrical requirements.
