This charming breadboard dates back to the start of the 20th century. It has a lovely weight being solid European beech (hêtre). This can be identified by the tiny black pattern through the grain of the timber.
Sourced in a quaint village called Sablet, this breadboard is truly Provençal and is in incredible condition considering that it is circa 100 years old.
