Collection of Sejnane Berber pottery - decorative Tunisian bowls

The women of the Sejnane region in Northern Tunisia are keeping alive an ancient tradition of creating beautiful terracotta pottery like these using skills handed down from generation to generation. This lovely collection exhibits a range of five dark-colored pieces and one lighter colored piece. Two are two-handled cups shaped like tea or soup cups.

The taller cup without handles includes a dark-colored matching hand-carved spoon. Due to the handmade nature of these objects, no two piece looks the same. A lovely collection to serve as catch-all pieces on an entry table or to decorate a shelves in a kitchen or living area. Not watertight - Recommended for decorative use only.
