A collection of six exquisite nineteenth-century engravings of French harbours. The originals were made for the young King Louis XVI in 1776. He was France's last king, ruling from 1774 –1792. The engravings are of the following sea ports; Port de Bordeaux, Le Port Vieu de Toulon, Le Port de Dieppe, Le Port des Sables d'Olone, Le Porte de Marseille and Le Port de Rochefort. They are framed behind glass in simple gilded frames. Also available for individual purchase.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
