A charming blue and white earthenware sauceboat with matching stand in the Flora pattern by Creil et Montereau, dating to the late 19th century, circa 1880. The navette-shaped body features twin pouring lips, a raised oval foot, and distinctive applied loop handles modeled as vine branches. Delicate cobalt-blue transfer-printed floral scrollwork decorates the creamy white ground, highlighting the scalloped rim, foot, and stand. Presented in very good antique condition, with light utensil wear, faint age-related crazing to the glaze, minor rubbing to the raised decoration, and light discoloration consistent with age and use.

Formed through the 1840 merger of two renowned French pottery manufacturers, Creil et Montereau became celebrated for its finely printed earthenware, which was widely exported and remains highly sought after by collectors today. The Flora pattern was one of the factory's most popular designs, featuring delicate bindweed flowers and foliage printed in cobalt blue beneath the glaze. First introduced in the second half of the 19th century and showcased at the 1855 Paris Universal Exposition, it was produced in several botanical variations and remains a favorite among collectors.
