Dating from the late eighteenth / early nineteenth century, this lovely Directoire period games table has a chic blackened finish and a pretty carved apron. Note that there are four drawers and a simple wooden edge so that cards and game chips don't fall off. Minor repairs have been made and woodworm has been treated. This may be required again in the future with a suitable product. Sourced from a chateau north of Bordeaux.
