This exquisite demilune wall console dates from the early eighteenth century and is of the Regence period. Note the intricate openwork and sunflower motif in the apron. The pink, gray and white marble is from the Pyrenees. The timber is oak. This console table is designed to be fixed to a wall as there are only two legs. Some wear to the marble edges. 

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
