Tall and graceful with a petite footprint, this interwar shop display stand is crafted in bronze and nickel-plated brass, signed Siegel and dating to the 1920s–1930s. A twisted central stem rises from a circular reeded base, supporting three adjustable arms and an adjustable-height top, allowing the piece to be tailored to its display. Originally designed for retail use, the stand was intended to present headpieces, jewelry, or ties, offering both visibility and elegance.
The metal shows a soft, timeworn patina with light wear to the plating. The arms appear to have lost some original components over time, possibly allowing for greater articulation, yet the stand remains visually harmonious, elegant, and fully functional. Overall condition is very good, with a stable, well-balanced presence. Place it on a vanity to sort necklaces and bracelets, or use it in an entry or office to keep keys within easy reach. Its vertical form brings a refined, sculptural presence to a console, dressing table, or desktop, blending easily with both traditional and contemporary settings while offering practical organization with quiet elegance.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
