This early 20th-century French enamelware coffee pot has a classic conical form with a domed lid, arching handle, and long gooseneck spout. Made of metal coated in enamel, it is decorated with hand-painted florals featuring red blossoms and green foliage on a white ground softly shaded with sky-blue at the rim and base. The pot retains its original lid and shows scattered enamel chips, minor wear at the rim, handle, and spout, and light oxidation along exposed edges. It is now for decorative use only.
Once a familiar sight in French kitchens, enamelware coffee pots like this combined sturdy, hygienic finishes with bright, cheerful decoration. The floral motifs and soft blue gradient reflect the popular style of the period, bringing both utility and a touch of elegance to everyday life.
Today, this piece lends authentic French farmhouse character to a kitchen dresser, pantry shelf, or country buffet. It can also be styled as a vessel for dried flowers or herbs, offering a gentle rustic accent in any interior.
