Early 20th-Century French Oak Draper’s Table - 79¼" x 23¾"

This large French oak draper’s table likely dates from the early 20th century and features the classic long rectangular proportions and practical lower shelf associated with this type of furniture. A single shallow drawer is fitted with a simple metal cup pull. Six finely turned legs support the broad lower shelf, which provides generous storage or display space while giving the piece a particularly well-balanced structure. The oak has been sanded, removing most previous surface marks and leaving the wood with a fresh, pale natural finish that highlights the grain. The table is solid and stable.
