This porcelain inkwell dates from the early-twentieth century and is shaped in the form of the head of an old lady laughing. There is an opening at the top of the head in which to pour the ink, and the quill can be dipped into the mouth area, which holds the reservoir. There is a small chip (refer to photos).

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
