A set of three early 20th-century Christmas ornaments in richly saturated cobalt-blue blown glass, each generously scaled with a perfectly spherical profile and mirrored silvered interior. Their high-gloss finish reflects light with a cool electric shimmer, while simple wire loops remain intact. Surfaces show light scuffing, speckling, and mild clouding to the internal silvering from age, with no chips or cracks. Blown-glass ornaments, popularized in the late 19th century, gained their intense blue either from colored glass or translucent lacquer applied over the silvered lining, a process often called “mercury glass",  though true mercury was not used.
The vivid blue and luminous sheen lend themselves beautifully to modern display: hung from a mantel garland, grouped in a shallow bowl with evergreen cuttings, or paired with pewter and linen for a restrained holiday tablescape. Beyond the season, they read as sculptural accents in a curio cabinet or on a console, their saturated color offering year-round decorative charm.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
