This stunning salvaged boiserie wood panel and arched mirror was salvaged from a Chateau in the south of France. It was originally above an internal doorway. It is beautifully carved with scrolling acanthus leaves and scallop shells. The mirror panes are mercury glass with gorgeous foxing. This would make a striking headboard. A very rare find and fabulous scale.
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases, this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
