Exceptional pair of extra- large Italian mirrors from the 18th Century 95" x 58¼"

A rare pair of very large mirrors dating from the early 18th Century. They were from an Italian castle integrated into the boiserie paneling. The backs have been replaced as they would have originally been installed up against the wall structure. The painted finish has been recently applied. Original glass with age markings.
