A beautiful white opaline glass vase attributed to the Baccarat manufactory, dating from the Louis-Philippe period, circa mid-19th century. This elegant piece is richly decorated with hand-painted polychrome flowers highlighted with delicate gilt detailing and framed by pale blue ribbon motifs with gilt foliage accents. The flared neck is finished with an exquisite blue and white glass filigree rim, a refined detail characteristic of high-quality French glassmaking of the period.
The opaline has a wonderful luminous quality when held to the light, showcasing the softness and depth of the glass. The vase is in very good antique condition, with no chips or cracks and only minimal wear consistent with age. Unsigned, as is typical for Baccarat pieces produced before the early 20th century.
A rare find, both charming and highly decorative, perfect for a collection or as a refined accent on a console or mantel, whether used for fresh flowers or displayed on its own.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
