A rare French mirror, dated 1891 with a highly decorative carved frame. There are animals with glass eyes on the sides and in the crest. The glass is heavily timeworn.
Approx. overall including frame and crest 30¾" x 53¼" x 4" deep
Approx. overall including frame and crest 78cm x 135cm x 10cm deep
Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
