Darker stained fluted corner stiles resolve into tapered, reeded legs, giving the piece both structure and elegance. The façade is arranged with four drawers, two to each side of a central cupboard door, each fitted with tassel-form brass pendeloque pulls. The cupboard retains its original working lock and key. The door is further enriched with a low-relief panel of stylized roses above a basket, set within a softly serpentine lower rail that lightens the silhouette. The surfaces display a gentle sheen from age and care, with light rubbing and a few faint marks consistent with use.
