A generous Art Deco cocktail shaker, circa 1930s, in bright silver-plated metal with a classic three-part construction. The form is defined by a rounded, bulbous shoulder rising from a slightly tapered cylindrical body, creating a soft yet architectural profile. The lower section is encircled with a series of evenly spaced horizontal bands, adding subtle rhythm and contrast to the otherwise smooth surface. Above, the neck is clean and slightly stepped, leading to a flat-topped cap with discreet ring detailing. The highly polished surface reflects light with a mirror-like clarity, enhancing its refined, streamlined presence typical of the Art Deco period.
In good vintage condition, with light scratches, gentle rubbing, and a few small, shallow marks from use. A refined example of Art Deco design, it reflects the era’s taste for modern geometry and elegant simplicity, making it as striking on display as it is in use.
Poised and nicely proportioned, this shaker anchors a home bar with understated glamour. Style it on a polished tray atop a sideboard or bar cart, paired with cut crystal and a small stack of linen napkins.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
