French Frosted Art Glass Coupe on Wrought Iron Stand, Circa 1920 - 9½"

This elegant French centerpiece bowl, dating from the early 20th century, reflects the transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco. It combines a thick-walled frosted art glass bowl with a hand-forged wrought iron stand ornamented with scrolling ivy vines and finely modeled leaves. The broad cylindrical bowl is finished in a softly satin surface with delicate mottling in mauve, amber, olive green, and cream, creating a subtle painterly effect that shifts beautifully with the light. The glass bowl fits securely within the wrought iron mount, held firmly in place while remaining removable if needed. The piece appears to be unmarked and remains in very good antique condition, with only light surface wear consistent with age and use.
