French giltwood mirror – early 19th century

This pretty French mirror dates to the 1820s. The mirror recently has been replaced. The decorative gilded frame is in original unrestored condition with a lovely patina consistent with age.

Approx. 22½” wide x 25½” high x 2” deep

Note: Mirrors have been photographed facing fabric, a technique that reveals any age spots in the glass. In some cases this may create the appearance of an empty frame, but each mirror is complete except where explicitly stated.
