This hand blown glass container was designed to trap wasps and flies. A sugary liquid was poured into to the base of the container to attract the insects. They would then enter from underneath to feed on the syrup. Retains original glass stopper and dates to the late 19th century. 

Approx. 5 ¾” diameter x 7 ½” high
