A lovely French oil-on-canvas landscape painting of a port scene with sailboats, possibly in Brittany. Dating from the 1980s, it features bright colors and smooth brushstrokes. Charming coastal scene to brighten a gallery wall or kitchen with French "joie de vivre" Note the slightly cracked patina and tear in canvas the upper cloudscape part of the painting. Repairs have also been made - patches are visible on the back. 

Heavy wear and rustic condition consistent with age and use.
