Sardine serving plate (Amieux Frères), 1900s

This plate was designed for serving sardines in a square tin. There is a French poem written on the inside. The plate is in exceptional condition. There is a maker’s mark on the back with a list of all the preserves made by Amieux Frères, a brand that is synonymous with gastronomy in France, even today.
