French Six-Light Glass Table Chandelier in Silvered Brass, Louis XV Style, Mid-20th Century - 34¼"

This elegant six-light table chandelier was made in France in the mid-20th century, drawing on the enduring Louis XV taste for sparkling decorative lighting. The silvered brass frame displays a beautifully timeworn surface, with wear to the original silver finish revealing the warm brass beneath. Rising from a shaped pedestal base, it supports six gracefully scrolling candle arms fitted with faux candle sleeves, while a faceted glass finial crowns the composition. The framework is lavishly adorned with strings of faceted glass beads, pressed glass rosettes, and an assortment of cut glass pendants, including elongated prisms and shaped drops that catch and refract the light beautifully. It remains in good vintage condition, with gentle age-related wear and a mellow patina throughout.
