Graceful Late 19th Century English Mahogany Card Table w/ Pull-Out Drink Slides

A graceful English late 19th century game table, finely crafted in mahogany, with a square top bordered by a slim wooden frame surrounding an olive velvet playing surface. The table stands on four graceful, slender cabriole legs with an elegant curve that gives the piece a light and refined presence. One pull-out slide is set on each side, designed for the four players. Each slide features circular holders for glasses and a small integrated ashtray, a thoughtful detail that reflects the social rituals of card play.

Condition is good overall with very sound structure and light scuffs to the wood consistent with age. Stamped “Made in England” and bearing the retailer’s plaque of Kate Lemoine & Co., 81 Avenue Victor Hugo, Paris, indicating the table was produced in England and retailed through this Paris showroom.
