This graduated pair of French glass preserving bottles, dating from the 1930s to the 1950s, is embossed with the La Lorraine name and the region's distinctive thistle emblem. Mold-blown in thick pale aqua-green glass, each bottle displays the subtle bubbles, gentle waviness, and slight irregularities characteristic of traditional manufacture. Both retain their original iron wire swing closures and white glazed ceramic stoppers. The glass remains bright and clear, with a gentle patina inside and out reflecting decades of practical use. The hardware has acquired a pleasing timeworn patina, and both original closures operate smoothly. One ceramic stopper bears a small white paint drip. Overall, the pair remains in very good vintage condition, with light wear consistent with age and no visible cracks.
