Gustavian 3 drawer double arbalette commode w/ black patina 65¼"

This elegant Gustavian three-drawer commode dates from the late eighteenth/early nineteenth century. It has an exquisite double arbalette (curved) front and carved side panels. Note the pretty pedestal bun feet at the front and the dovetail joints to the drawers. The drawers all slide smoothly. The black paint finish has been recently applied, everything else is original including the door handles. The timber is beechwood.
