Handmade sculpture of a black lamb - Christmas Nativity scene

This adorable little wooden sculpture of a black lamb dates from the late nineteenth century. A lovely decorative accent that will animate a vignette on a console or in open shelves. This is an old decoration from a Provençal nativity scene or "Crèche de Noël provençale ".
