This rare, huge confit pot dates from the late eighteenth/early nineteenth-century. It has the monogram S.P stamped at the top (this would have been the potter's initials). A superb, warm yellow glazed pot that is a nice large-scale pot to add to a collection of French pottery. The size is exceptional.
Condition and patina consistent with age.
