This spectacular Art Nouveau "Patisserie" sign is displayed on the wall of "Julia's kitchen" in Patricia Wells' home in Provence. The charming farmhouse kitchen, named after Patricia's dear friend Julia Child, is decorated with Julia's 1960s La Cornue stove and photographs of them together.
The frame is molded brass and the writing is cut tole over opaque Perspex giving a soft glow when the light behind is turned on.
This will be a familiar sign to those who have taken cooking classes with Patricia at Chanteduc and will make a fabulous statement in a kitchen or dining room.
This has been re-electrified for European power. Must be rewired and installed in accordance with local electrical requirements.
