A lovely antique decorated ceramic glazed pitcher dating from the start of the twentieth century. A Savoyard piece from Isère, France, this pitcher features a mottled light brown glaze with a central raised inscription reading "Du pinard! Quelle reine" translating to "To wine! What a queen!" There are pretty grape vine motifs on either side. A delightful mountain piece to use for dried flowers or to decorate a shelf with a touch of the French alps. Note the initials of the previous owner are marked underneath. 

Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
