The form follows the classic Anduze model that has become emblematic of southern France: a generous baluster-shaped body rising from a spreading foot to a broad rolled rim, enriched with applied garlands and moulded cartouches. Inspired by the Medici urns admired during the Renaissance and produced in Anduze for centuries, this elegant silhouette was designed to showcase citrus trees in the grand gardens and orangeries of Provence and the Languedoc.
