This listing is part of the 'At Home with Patricia Wells' collection of epicurean objects and decorative antiques.
This large-scale chamber pot from Provence dates from the late nineteenth century and is from Chanteduc, the home of Patricia and Walter Wells in Provence. The flange is very wide (note some wear around the edges). The yellow and green glaze will complement other pieces of antique French pottery. Patricia remembers purchasing it at the L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue flea market with her husband, Walter, who was extra enthusiastic about this particular piece.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
