This large-format still life painting dates from the early nineteenth century. It depicts a composition of summer fruit with a copper ewer and a pewter cup. The work is signed by Émile Godchaux (1860–1930) and is presented in an elegant black-painted and giltwood frame that shows some repairs, wear, and losses; please refer to the photos.
