Large 19th century still life with bird fruit & flowers 29½" x 47¼"

A large still life oil on canvas from the 1880s. A little bird has just landed on the basket which is overflowing with autumnal fruit including a cracked pomegranate in the foreground. A lovely mass of flowers is on the right in front of the stone wall and landscape beyond. Signed E. Miseroole. Repairs have been made to the canvas.
