Dating from the late nineteenth century, this large 'tian' bowl was originally used for washing vegetables, and also washing up after meals like a basin. A classic piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery. It has a lovely ochre glaze with simple handles and a pouring beak.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
