A large French confit pot dating from the late nineteenth / early twentieth-century. The top part is glazed with a pretty yellow / orange glaze that drips down the sides. Originally used for storing preserves. A good repair has been made and the pot is strong. From south / west France. A lovely piece to add to a collection of antique French pottery.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
