A very large Tian bowl from the early nineteenth century. This bowl touts a single spout, no handles, and a lovely custard-yellow glaze covering the interior and edges. Note the size number stamped on the side.
Originally used for washing vegetables, this is a classic piece of French pottery that will complement a collection. It can be decorated with large bouquets of dried flowers and fresh garden clippings or perhaps as a decorative way to store a garden hose.
Condition and wear consistent with age and use.
